  1. Hi,

I would like to get my hands on an MSDN Ultimate subscription for the following reasons:
    – In the past I have put some work in a tool called SequenceViz (http://sequenceviz.codeplex.com/). Now I am working on something similar which should eventually produce Sequence Diagrams, Class Diagrams, Component Views and Namespace overviews. And maybe even more.
    – At the moment I am only busy working on a stand-alone tool, but it has crossed my mind to build a VS extension as well.
    – To get a good product I would like to get a good overview of what is in VS 2010 Ultimate with all the diagrams. Also the Visualization and Modeling Feature Pack is on my list of things to review. And that is only available in VS 2010 Ultimate.
    – I can not afford a subscription of my own, neither will my employer supply it. So I need other means to get it, and refreshing a trial version every once in a while is counter productive IMHO.

I have a blog over at http://blogger.xs4all.nl/mzetstra on which I lastly blogged about the Code Contract stuff Microsoft is working on. Also I have been busy in the MSDN forums lately (profile is here: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/profile/meile%20zetstra/?type=forum). Just trying to repay the community with a bit of help.

    Regards,
    Meile Zetstra

P.S. Good luck on picking a winner.

  2. Moi je la veux pour faire mumuse en toute légalité 😀

Pas sur que ce soit suffisant pour gagner ca?

  3. Hey Jeremy,

Congratulations on making MVP this year! You definitely deserve it :).

I’d love to get my hands on an MSDN Ultimate subscription. I have a basic developer subscription to MSDN through work, but it doesn’t grant me access to any of the Expression tools or to VS2010 Ultimate (I only get VS Pro). It doesn’t get me any of the Office products, either.

I’ve been an avid WPF developer since the September 2005 “Avalon” CTP, so the lack of access to Expression (particularly Design and Blend) is frustrating. I would also like to be able to use Code Contracts with static analysis and Microsoft’s .NET profiler, both of which require VS2010 Ultimate.

Aside from occasionally blogging on WPF (http://codedreams.blogspot.com/), I also lead an open source game project based on WPF and other .NET technologies (http://supremacy.codeplex.com/).

I enjoy reading your blog, and I think it’s great that you’re giving away a subscription to one of your readers. I’m sure any of us would be glad to have it.

    Cheers,
    Mike

Merci.
